I want to get rid of digital cable, and there is enough programming between Sling, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime - where I will be satisfied as long as I can have DVR like functionality.

that's pretty sweet. Hope it goes into effect without much ado or delay. It was inevitable, wasnt it? I cut the cord a long time ago but I can consider going back if the price is not exorbitant and I dont have to deal with their antiquated equipment.

Not me, love the price for OTA ($0) and HD is million times better on OTA then the compressed crap Comcast and DirecTV provide! And maybe I'm lucky where I live but I get 50 decent channels (including sub channels) that I actually watch..should have cut the cord years ago!!
